Thank you for your ongoing love and support for the Marge Williams Center through One Call for All.
We’re asking you to support our 2023-24 capital campaign, “Keep the Sun Shining on the Marge,” with a gift today.
It’s been an exciting 18 months at the Marge! Over the summer we painted the building exterior for the first time in many years, and reroofed the building (thanks to a Community Grants from the Bainbridge Community Foundation); expanded our rooftop solar array to keep the building sustainable and affordable (thanks to a grant from Rotary Club of Bainbridge Island); resurfaced our parking lot; and began extensive restoration of the landscaping. The building has never looked better at our prominent Winslow Way West location.
We also made some upgrades inside to serve our tenants, including faster internet and several new appliances. The Marge is a great place to be for nonprofits serving Bainbridge Island, and we’re pleased to enjoy full occupancy for both offices and mailboxes.
We’re not done! Our 2024 plans include repainting all interior spaces including the conference room, offices and common areas, more landscaping improvements, replacement of some aging windows. Your gifts will make it all possible – we can do it without you.
Since 2001, we’ve been honored to provide low-cost, professional office space to so many nonprofits doing great works in our Bainbridge Island community, in the spirit of our namesake and friend, the late Marge Williams.
